Efficiency is one of the tools used to assess the selection of production factor combinations used in corn farming activities in Bone Bolango Regency to achieve optimal production. Maximum profit will be reached when all production factors, such as land, seeds, fertilizer, and pesticides, are allocated optimally and efficiently in terms of technical, price, and economic efficiency. The study aims to analyze the levels of technical, price, and economic efficiency in the use of production factors in corn farming in Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo. The research method used a survey approach, interviewing 90 corn farmers in various corn-producing districts in Bone Bolango Regency from January to April 2024. The level of efficiency in the use of corn production factors was analyzed using multiple regression analysis with the Cobb-Douglas production function model approach. The study indicates inefficiency among corn farmers in Bone Bolango Regency in utilizing production factors such as land area, seeds, fertilizers, and pesticides, both technically, price-wise, and economically. Only the land factor had a significant impact on increasing corn production in Bone Bolango Regency. Therefore, a reduction in the amount of land, fertilizer, and pesticide usage is needed to achieve efficient and optimal corn production. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.
